The RISE Network works with public libraries to provide Albertans with opportunities to communicate with health care professionals, participate in distance education, attend meetings, learn new skills and more – all by videoconference from their local library.

Sharks, Devouring the Myths

Don't be afraid! See sharks up close and learn the truth about them! Find out why it's more dangerous to be a home than in the water with these fascinating creatures.
Join the Mote Marine Laboratory to will learn about the behavior of sharks, types of sharks, and the anatomy and physiology of sharks (including the senses). Participants will also learn about the popular misconceptions about sharks and why they are often misunderstood.
