The RISE Network works with public libraries to provide Albertans with opportunities to communicate with health care professionals, participate in distance education, attend meetings, learn new skills and more – all by videoconference from their local library.

‘Personal Disaster Preparedness’, Presented by the Taber Public Library and Canadian Red Cross

A disaster can strike anyone at any time. Are you prepared? This video conference will include information on the three steps in being prepared for a disaster to hit, including: knowing the risks, making a plan, and preparing a kit. Learn how to be prepared to survive for up to 72 hours with minimal assistance.
