RISE Is a great example of community development and efforts to build a resilient, trusted and accessible network of learning opportunity for rural Alberta. Bow Valley College would be pleased to continue utilizing the RISE Network to support and align with needs of rural learners, increase access to post-secondary opportunities and strengthen cross-generational learning through technology

Kids reading to dogs is a popular program at many libraries. These programs are designed to help young kids improve their confidence in reading out loud by reading to a dog.

Join Steve King, president of Community Therapy Dogs (Chestermere) to learn about their Listening Tails program.

This program is suitable for library patrons and library staff. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
