The RISE Network works with public libraries to provide Albertans with opportunities to communicate with health care professionals, participate in distance education, attend meetings, learn new skills and more – all by videoconference from their local library.

Celebrate the ancient tradition of oral story telling!

Join Olds Municipal Library as they present Mary Hays on World Storytelling Day on March 20th.
 
Mary Hays, from Olds, Alberta, is a full time storyteller who enjoys telling stories that tickle the funnybone and touch the heart. She enlivens storytelling sessions and workshops with puppets, rhymes and a range of stories from folktales to stories of Alberta history
 
An Interactive story time for families from 3-4 pm that's sure to delight all ages.
