The RISE Network works with public libraries to provide Albertans with opportunities to communicate with health care professionals, participate in distance education, attend meetings, learn new skills and more – all by videoconference from their local library.

Interested in starting a therapy dog reading program in your library? Join Steve King, founder of "Learning Tails," a dog training company specializing in basic obedience and canine communication and behaviour and learn about the benefits of using therapy dogs in the library to promote early literacy.
